Scarecrow season is just around the corner, and your favorite hockey mascot is making a special stop at the Zoo! 🏒 🐦⬛ Come meet Stanley, snap a photo, grab a high-five, and help him countdown to another exciting Scarecrows season. ☀️ The Children's Petting Zoo will close at 1 p.m. today.
Some animals may also choose to spend more time in their indoor, climate-controlled habitats, so they may not always be visible during your visit.
Need to cool off? Stop by the Tropical Rainforest, Camp Cowabunga, or the new Tiger Trails & Den Academy for a refreshing break from the heat. 🌿❄️

The zoos across Kansas that are accredited by the Association of Zoos & Aquariums have teamed up this summer to give Kansas families a summer of exploring.
How does it work?

🦁 Start your adventure at whichever Zoo you please. Present your passport at the admissions gate to receive your stamp!
🐵 Visit & collect stamps from all 7 Kansas accredited zoos to complete your passport.
💌 Make sure your passport is completed by September 7. Mail it to Rolling Hills Zoo to be entered to win a behind-the-scenes encounter at the participating Zoo of your choice! Winner will be selected on September 14.
Each participant must be 3 years of age or older. One passport per participant. Stamps can only be collected during regular Zoo business hours.
