From check-in to guest limits, we’ve gathered the details that make planning easy.
Can we bring more than 10 people into our igloo?
Due to space constraints, we do not allow more than 10 people per igloo. For groups larger than 10, please check out the two-igloo reservation or the Holiday Party package!
Can we bring our own food and drinks?
Outside food and drink is prohibited in the igloos. Your igloo concierge is happy to help you with food and drinks from the igloo bar or café.
How do I check in?
When you arrive, let Admissions know that you are here for your igloo reservation, you will be directed to the LED light up sign by the TVs, where your concierge will meet you. At your reservation start time, your igloo concierge will take you to your assigned igloo. If you arrive early, you are more than welcome to walk around Zoo Lights and report to the flagpole at your reservation time.
What if I'm late for my reservation?
Please check in when you arrive, and your igloo concierge will take you to your igloo. However, your reservation will still end at its designated time, to allow igloo concierges to prepare the igloo for the next guests.
What if I need to cancel my reservation?
In the event that you need to cancel or reschedule your reservation, please call 785-783-4264 and leave a message, a member of the Igloo team will get back to you within 24 hours. Please note, Igloo reservations can only be moved pending availability but are non-refundable.
How do I get a refund on my reservation?
Igloo reservations are non-refundable.
Am I allowed to walk around zoo lights before or after my reservation?
Yes! You are more than welcome to walk around Zoo Lights before or after your reservation so you can make the most of your igloo time. Igloo sessions end at 9 PM.
What all is included in my igloo reservation?
- Igloo access for up to 6 guests with the option to purchase additional tickets. Capped at 10 guests (indoor and outdoor)
- One drink ticket for cocoa per person (up to 6). Additional guest tickets accommodate one ticket each. Capped at 10 guests. Spike your individual drink for $7.

How do I order food and drinks from my igloo?

Do I have to leave at the end of my igloo reservation?
If Zoo Lights is still open at the end of your igloo reservation, you are welcome to walk around the Zoo, but you must vacate the igloo at your designated time so the igloo can be cleaned and prepared for the next reservation.
I saw that you have some food and drink available for pre-order, am I able to order those day-of?
