Strollers and Wagons

Strollers ($6.00), Double Strollers ($8.00), Wagons ($8.00), Wheelchairs ($2.00) and ECV ($25.00) may be rented at the front gate. Tax not included.

Rentals cannot be reserved. 

Service Animals

Fully-trained service animals are welcome at the Topeka Zoo.

Animals whose sole function is to provide comfort or emotional support and therapy dogs that provide a service to others do not qualify as service animals under the ADA.

Topeka Zoo Guide to Enjoying Your Next Visit

1. Please consider pre-purchasing your tickets or purchase a membership online. This will accelerate your entrance and minimize contact between individuals. Purchase here: store.topekazoo.org 
Note: To receive a reciprocal discount on tickets, the transaction must be done in person with your card and ID.
2. Be courteous to guests and staff. Please take turns at viewing windows.
3. Review our Map and Zoo News to navigate the zoo and learn about what's going on at the Zoo.
4. For the safety of our animals, guests, and staff if you do not feel well, please stay home.

The Gift Shop

The Gift Shop, located inside the Topeka Zoo, is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. every day the Zoo is open.

Topeka Zoo members receive a 10%-15% discount on all in-store gift shop purchases. Topeka Zoo gift cards are available also.

Sunflower's Giraffe


Sunflower's Cafe & Grill 

Sunflower's Cafe & Grill is open 9-3pm January 2-March 13th. You can enjoy warm cinnamon and sugar donuts, coffee, breakfast pizza, popcorn, nachos (black bean or cheese), 1 topping pizzas (Sausage, pepperoni, or cheese) and 12oz Pepsi products. Hours are subject to change during the winter months.

Starting March 14th Sunflower’s Café and Grill will be open 9-4pm

Spring/Summer menu coming soon!!

  • Soft drinks are also available for purchase at Shop Zoo, Sunflower's,
    and vending machines located around the zoo     proudly serving
