Tiger Trails and Den Academy

Tiger Trails transports guests into the forests of Sumatra, where Sumatran tigers prowl in a stunning, naturalistic habitat. Adjacent to tigers guests will find the stunning king vulture, a new species for the us. Centered between both habitats, Den Academy offers a hands-on STEM lab, allowing guests to explore the science of animal nutrition and conservation.
Security Benefit Children's Zoo And A New Play Area
Coming 2027
Security Benefit Children’s Zoo and new Play Zone brings childhood wonder to life through farm-inspired play, animal encounters, and the enduring spirit of Kansas. Inspired by the iconic Fisher-Price barn, this immersive space blends nostalgic charm with hands-on discovery, where children can explore lively farm scenes, meet friendly animals, and engage their senses through play. An antique tractor anchors the experience as a tribute to Kansas’s agricultural roots, while the adjacent play area offers climbing, sliding, and imaginative fun alongside comfortable amenities for families to relax and gather. Together, these spaces celebrate connection — between children and animals, families and community, and today’s joy and tomorrow’s care for the land.
Discovery Forest

Step into the Discovery Forest, where clouded leopards and red pandas roam beneath a lush rainforest canopy filled with orchids and carnivorous plants. This immersive habitat brings the beauty of Southeast Asia’s jungles to life, offering unforgettable animal encounters and interactive experiences.
Realm of the Rhino: Guardians of the Plains

Realm of the Rhino: Guardians of the Plains is a bold new experience that immerses guest in the powerful world of one of Earth’s most awe-inspiring and imperiled creatures — the rhino. These magnificent giants, symbols of strength and resilience, now stand at the brink of extinction. Their story is one of both tragedy and hope, and here at the Topeka Zoo, guests will become part of the fight to protect them.
Rainforest Adventure Dome
