Roar & Pour Wine Fest returns for an unforgettable evening of exceptional wine, delicious bites, live music, and vibrant entertainment set throughout the Zoo. This unique after-hours experience invites guests to sip, stroll, and explore while enjoying a lively atmosphere unlike any other in the region.
We’re excited to once again feature our popular Art for Conservation Auction, showcasing one-of-a-kind pieces created through collaborations between several talented local artists and our resident Topeka Zoo animals. Guests can also take part in our silent auction, filled with incredible themed baskets and experiences generously donated by community partners.
Proceeds from this signature fundraiser directly support the Zoo’s conservation efforts, animal care, and educational programs that inspire our community to protect wildlife and wild places.
This is a 21+ event. All guests must present valid photo ID for entry. No ID. No entry.

Starting at 5:30 p.m. when the Corral opens, guests can enjoy a lineup of specialty cocktails available at a special rate. It’s the perfect way to toast the night ahead—then keep the good times flowing with additional beverages available for purchase throughout the event. Cheers to a fun and festive night at the Zoo!
Animal art or art made with animals?
The art up for auction is a unique collaboration between local artists and Topeka Zoo animals. This fun endeavor, coordinated by DeAna Morrison of Amused gallery, has produced a unique collection of art in varying styles. Each piece of art includes contributions from both artist and animal. The painting process for the animals is an enriching and sensory-stimulating activity.
WHAT COMES WITH BEING VIP?
VIP guests now enjoy an expanded lounge with more room to relax, connect, and take in the night. Each VIP ticket includes exclusive VIP parking and a VIP Fast Pass, giving you the ability to skip the lines at every winery location for a smoother tasting experience. Upon arrival, guests are invited to feed our majestic giraffes before enjoying four wine tastings from Z&M Twisted Vines Winery & Vineyard, paired with incredible cuisine provided by 2 Chefs Catering. The evening is rounded out with a private concert, creating a fun and memorable VIP experience from start to finish
