We've made a few calls and pulled some strings and can confirm that the Big Red Man himself is currently packing his bags and getting ready to make his way down to the Zoo!

Starting tonight until December 24th, Santa Claus will be here at the Topeka Zoo and available for photos in our Holiday Village during our Zoo Lights Event. He will be there 5:30pm-9pm Sunday through Thursday, and on Fridays, Saturdays, and the week of Christmas from 5:30pm-9:30pm. We will be having present boxes set up in front of Santa for you to sit on and take your pictures in order to keep social distancing and not have any contact. Masks will still be required within your duration in the Zoo but may be taken off during your picture. We also ask you continue to stay 6 feet apart from others.

There will be a variety of other activities and treats for you to enjoy within the Holiday Village while you wait to meet Santa! We will have shops open for you to get a little holiday shopping done and buy a few souvenirs for the night. As well as our Village Cafe where you can warm up with a cup of hot chocolate and snack on some popcorn, lollipops, and Bavarian nuts! Before exiting the Village, make sure you turn in your letters to Santa at his mailbox right outside village doors. Our Holiday Village is a must see when you come visit us during Zoo lights.

Be sure to purchase your tickets to Zoo Lights for a chance to meet Santa Claus himself and drop off your letters at his mailbox at the Village!
