Field Trips
Visiting the Zoo is a great experience for students of all ages. Teachers have the option to conduct their own tour of the Zoo or to have our Education Department lead a tour that meets the specific needs of your class.
The Topeka Zoo offers a discounted rate of $1 per person for Shawnee County-based schools to conduct field trips. Friends of the Topeka Zoo also offers a scholarship program for Shawnee County-based school that can underwrite the admission costs for your class to visit the Zoo.
