Giraffe Feeding

Enjoy this up close and personal experience feeding the Topeka Zoo’s giraffes. Feeding located in the Animal and Man Building.

*Cost is $1

March-May: Saturday & Sunday, 1:30pm

June-August: Saturday, Sunday, Tuesday, 11am

September-December: Saturday & Sunday, 1:30pm

 

Caiman Feeding *Due to the rainforest construction, Caiman Feeding will begin in June

Watch as the dwarf caiman receives its lunch in the Tropical Rainforest

Bone Day

Watch as the big cats receive their bones!

Elephant Training

Watch as the zookeepers work on daily training of the zoo elephants, Sunda and Tembo

Watch as zookeepers work on daily training of various zoo animals. Different animal each week.

Take a tour of the elephant barn tour and see where the elephants eat, sleep, bathe.

Join one of our zookeepers for a special animal activity involving the North American Animals.

Visitors can watch as the free flight birds in the Tropical Rainforest are fed
